Our clients know we have the breadth of knowledge and experience required to deal with their queries, but another key reason for choosing to work with Warrener Stewart is that we’re reliable, accessible and responsive to their needs.

Alex joined Warrener Stewart in 2015. He was promoted to Associate Director in 2019 and became a Director in 2022. Having previously trained in general practice in a mid-sized firm, Alex has a wide experience in both audit and accounts. This includes working with hotels and restaurants, educational establishments, and many new and potentially high-growth businesses.

He enjoys working with owner-managed businesses that require comprehensive, expert advice and is proud of the portfolio he has built. Working closely with his clients to develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of their businesses enables Alex to respond quickly to any questions or issues that may arise. As a result, he is relied upon and trusted by them for day-to-day decision making.

Alex provides a wide range of advice to clients, such as supporting those who have an idea and funding for a new business by helping them launch the business in a structured way that will positively support future growth. He has also helped business owners launch additional ventures and advised on implementing employee incentive schemes.

When he joined Warrener Stewart, Alex knew he wanted to commit to a growing practice and play an active role in its future growth. Now, as a Director, he is enjoying helping support and develop the firm’s managers and staff.

Originally from Yorkshire, Alex has a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Durham. Now living in Surrey, he has two young children and is a sports enthusiast, following as many sports as he can, particularly rugby, football, tennis, golf and skiing.
