Introducing Warrener Stewart’s newest board member

Warrener Stewart is pleased to announce the promotion of James Shepherd to Director, recognising his significant contribution to the firm and ongoing commitment to its growth.

James joined Warrener Stewart in 2016 as an ACCA-qualified accountant, having previously trained with PwC. Over the course of his career, he has developed a strong specialism in audit, working with large corporate clients with turnovers exceeding £300 million.

In addition to his client work, James has played a key role in improving internal processes, helping to enhance efficiency across the firm through the adoption of new technologies and structured audit planning.

James has also contributed to the firm’s development by supporting recruitment efforts, and introducing trainee appraisal systems to drive operational improvements. His progression reflects both his technical capability and his initiative in taking on responsibilities beyond his role.

Commenting on his promotion, James said: “Warrener Stewart has always had strong potential, and I’m excited to continue building on that. I’m looking forward to progressing, helping to shape how we work, and continuing to help improve and grow the firm.”
