“Helping clients navigate complex UK and US tax matters gives me a real sense of achievement. Getting to guide people through what can often feel like a very complicated process and helping them feel confident in their decisions is immensely rewarding.”

Joe joined WSA Tax in July 2022 following his graduation from Loughborough University with a degree in Mathematics and Sport Science.

Since joining the firm, Joe has quickly developed his expertise and is now dual-qualified, holding the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) qualification in the UK and working as an Enrolled Agent (EA) in the US. He is currently studying towards the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification to bolster his abilities as a key member of the US Tax team.

In this department, Joe works primarily with US citizens resident in the UK, advising on the tax implications of UK Corporate and business structures owned by US Citizens. As such, he has extensive experience supporting US entrepreneurs planning their UK business structures and reporting in a compliant manner to the IRS.

Joe is known for his strong organisational skills and his ability to manage large client portfolios, ensuring filing requirements are met accurately and on time. His advice focuses on clarity and practicality, helping clients feel confident in their obligations and arrangements.

Outside of work, Joe can be found at the gym or coaching football at the development level, supporting players as they progress from youth to adult football. His passions here reflect his approach at work, focused on guidance, development, and helping others build confidence and capability over time.
