“The key to being a good auditor is being direct but considerate. You have to build strong relationships with clients whilst also helping them maintain the high standards expected from an audit.”

Rajeev joined Warrener Stewart in March 2020 at the age of eighteen, making him one of the firm’s youngest recruits at the time. Warrener Stewart is his first role within the profession, beginning a journey that has seen him progress from trainee to Assistant Manager within six years.

Training simultaneously at college and on the job, Rajeev quickly established himself as a dedicated and capable member of the team. He was one of the firm’s first AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) trainees, achieving qualification in 2023 before going on to complete the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) qualification in 2025, passing first time.

Today, Rajeev works primarily within Warrener Stewart’s audit department, delivering statutory and voluntary audits as well as wider assurance services for a broad range of clients across multiple sectors. His role has evolved steadily over time, with Rajeev now managing assignments, working closely with finance teams and acting as a key day-to-day contact for clients throughout the audit process.

Rajeev enjoys the variety that audit provides, with exposure to different industries, businesses and people ensuring that no two projects are ever the same. Alongside his client work, he also plays an active role in supervising and mentoring junior team members, supporting the development of the next generation of accountants entering the profession.

Known for his calm and approachable nature, Rajeev combines strong technical expertise with practical communication skills, helping clients improve financial processes, strengthen reporting procedures and navigate audit requirements with confidence.

Outside of work, Rajeev has a passion for travel, languages and personal development. Following qualification as an ACA, he spent three months travelling across East and Southeast Asia, visiting eleven countries including Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines. He also enjoys cooking, baking, swimming and boxing, and is currently learning Japanese and developing his German.

“ We were so impressed at their quick response times and ability to resolve even the most complicated financial problem. ”
