To temporarily assist with the payroll function and assist with the introduction of new software

Warrener Stewart has worked alongside KFH, a London based estate agent with over 50 branches across London, for nearly 20 years assisting with yearly audits, tax reviews and providing general business advice. Recently, KFH found themselves in urgent need of Warrener Stewart’s assistance, when in the middle of a transition from one payroll system to another, a resignation left them with insufficient resource to complete the change and manage their payroll at the same time. 

Payroll is a vital function within a business, one which if not executed properly can quickly impact on employee morale. For a company like KFH administering payroll is a highly complex process, one which involves handling sensitive information. Enlisting support during this transitional period to assist the Payroll Manager and to ensure the smooth continuation of the monthly salaries was Financial Director, Paul Allerton’s key priority.

Before taking up the position of Finance Director at KFH in 1995, Paul initially started his accountancy career with Warrener Stewart. As part of his training he was seconded to work at KFH – which brought him to the attention of the directors who enticed Paul to leave private practice to work in house as their Finance Director.

As a former employee Paul had complete confidence that Warrener Stewart would send people who could walk in and instantly provide valuable support to the KFH department.
