Born and raised in the United States and later moving to Canada and becoming a citizen, Leigh came to the UK in 2024 to expand her international tax knowledge. Leigh joined as a US Tax Manager in June 2025, specialising in compliance and IRS dispute resolution. In the US, Leigh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness from the University of Florida, followed by a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado.
Leigh’s early career included ten years with the US government as a Federal Agent for the US Department of the Treasury (IRS) – five years spent auditing small businesses and self-employed taxpayers, and five years as an auditor reviewing offshore voluntary disclosure program and streamlined return packages.
After a further twelve years with respected tax firms in Canada and London – helping private clients stay compliant with the IRS – Leigh brings rare expertise and insight to her role. Principally handling IRS notices, resolving IRS disputes, and ensuring US tax compliance, Leigh is uniquely positioned to offer clients the insight and support they need.
With Leigh’s knowledge, she makes a genuine difference, both to the team, where opinions are valued, and to each client: by taking the time to share the bigger picture, stay proactive, explain processes clearly and remember real-life details, Leigh brings a sense of honesty, transparency, and integrity that her clients value deeply.
Away from the office, Leigh’s passions include gardening, travelling, hiking, skiing, cycling, running – she’s completed thirteen half marathons and two full marathons – and her cats. While living in Colorado, she helped train avalanche rescue dogs on the slopes of the Rocky Mountains.
