Sboniso joined Warrener Stewart in January 2026 and quickly established himself as a key member of our Audit and Accounts team. Born and raised in South Africa, he studied Accounting and Finance in Johannesburg, before achieving chartered status in the city in 2019.
As part of his post-graduate qualification, Sboniso undertook a placement at PwC, where he went on to spend three and a half years building specialist expertise across the technology, information systems and entertainment sectors.
Keen to broaden his horizons, Sboniso moved to the UK in 2019, joining Ernst & Young in Birmingham as a Senior Auditor. After three years at the firm, further roles at Evelyn Partners and MGI Midgley Snelling LLP strengthened both his technical expertise and his passion for building strong relationships.
Drawn to Warrener Stewart’s family feel and collaborative culture, Sboniso quickly embraced our approach to client relationships. He leads audits from planning through to delivery, combining technical rigour with a proactive, personable approach that delivers clarity, efficiency and reassurance beyond the numbers.
Outside of work, Sboniso has a passion for dance and is a regular at the gym. He’s also an enthusiastic Dungeons & Dragons player and is looking forward to starting his next campaign.
